Invitation to the GREF Conference 2020,  16-18 June 2020

Culloden Estate and Spa- Belfast- Northern Ireland

 The GREF board has the pleasure of inviting our members to attend the GREF Conference 2020, to be held at the Culloden Estate and Spa, Belfast, Northern Ireland. The board will consider any applications from qualifying non-members also wishing to attend the conference.

Conference

This year our program will include the following topics:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Behavioural Insights
  • Regulatory Experience using Behavioural Insights 
  • Examples of Enforcement Strategy – followed by a Q&A session 
  • The CEN Standard plus Developments in European Jurisdictions 

A more detailed agenda will soon follow.

As per our conference program in previous years, we will start the event with a lunch on Tuesday 16 June and finish after lunch on Thursday 18 June.

 

You only register for the conference with GREF, and you should separately book the hotel accommodation by contacting your preferred hotel directly.

The conference cost per delegate is EUR 400 for GREF members and EUR 500 for non-members. This includes daily networking lunches and all three evening social events.

This year our annual GREF conference will coincide with the annual IAGA conference, following the successful experience in Malta 2016. Most GREF conference sessions will be closed, for GREF members only, but there will be a small number of optional open shared sessions for GREF and IAGA members. For those GREF members who wish to stay on for the optional Thursday evening gala dinner at Hillsborough Castle there is a separate optional afternoon program organised jointly with IAGA.

Accommodation

You can reserve your hotel room in the Culloden Estate and Spa, or you can choose the Grand Central Hotel or the Europa, which are a 20 minute bus ride from The Culloden. Free transport for all conference delegates will be arranged by Visit Belfast.

GREF has negotiated preferential rates but hotel availability is limited, so the earlier you book the better. In any case, the rooms will be blocked until 29 May 2020, which is the cut-off date to receive bookings.

The discounted GREF 2020 prices are based on a double room for single occupancy :-

The Culloden start at £250 per night (executive)

The Grand Central rooms( executive) start at £160 per night

The Europa ( classic ) start at £130 per night.
